Are these tiles easy to cut and install?
Yes. Colamo tiles are designed for easy DIY installation. For detailed cutting and installation steps, please refer to the Colamo Tile Installation Guide.
Does this go over existing tile?
Yes! 🙋♀️Our tiles feature a rigid core and are thick enough to naturally bridge over deep grout lines.
However, try to ensure the surface is as flat as possible. If your existing tiles have texture, we recommend lightly sanding the surface.
For extra security on uneven surfaces, you can add some adhesive, like a spray adhesive to ensure proper bonding.
Before installation, use an all-purpose cleaner to remove any grease or residue. Always make sure the surface is dry and dust-free to ensure the best adhesion.
Can I install peel and stick tiles on textured walls (like orange peel)?
For best results, a smooth and flat surface is always recommended.
However, our peel and stick tiles can still be installed on lightly textured walls, such as orange peel. We’ve had many customers successfully apply them directly without sanding.
What to expect:
- Minor Gaps: On textured surfaces, you may notice that some tiles don’t sit perfectly flush—this is normal. A simple fix is to apply silicone caulk (just like grout) between the tiles. This helps fill small gaps and creates a cleaner, more finished look.
- Extra Security: If you are concerned about the wall texture affecting the bond, applying a bit of spray adhesive (such as 3M Super 77) to the wall before installation can provide extra peace of mind and ensure the tiles stay firmly in place.

This wood paneling looks very very nice, it's very lightweight, and looks like it will be very easy to install. My plan when I ordered this was to install this on the wall behind my bathroom sink, but the instructions indicate you should not use this in a moist area near a shower. It said that right in the listing, I just overlooked it. I'm still glad I have these though, and I'm sure I will find a very artsy use for them elsewhere in the house. I do recommend these, just not a few plan to do them in a bathroom.
Update, I found a great use for this as a background for my bearded dragon enclosure. Check out the new picture. Really really glad I had this stuff.
Quick and easy- this is my second accent wall with Colamo planks, and they worked out great!
Definitely not for a floor which is probably why they call it wall paneling. The color is nice, the size is good…won’t know how the adhesive holds until I stick them up. I think it will work well for the project I have in mind.
These planks have some nice characters in them. They really upscale my home. Took me couple hours to finish and pretty easy to work with, the seller is right about “just peel and stick”. Overall I’m impressed!
Accent wall of wood panel, like it so much
So far I've ordered three sample sets of this style of planking for an art renovation bathroom project, and these are by far my favorite style wise. Everything wise, really. Once I have enough materials to finish my project I'll update this post with photos, but meanwhile, know that these are wonderful planks with great coloring and adhesion.

They are very attractive, they are well made and come with an excellent adhesive.
Wish they were a little bit bigger - they don't cover much wall but they're nice to have for a small area project.
These are a great way to cover up an area or add an accent without much effort or expense. I have tried the peel and stick backsplash tiles, but they always look too plastic to me in person. These are really wood and look great.
Excellent, just recommend putting on lights dots of glue-like construction adhesive for best hold. Overall fantastic.

really easy to install! Give a vintage and rustic look to our bedroom and I really like it! The wood feels nice quality. I press the plank with a sponge so it’ll adhered to the wall better.
I like the design and ease of installing but some pieces did not adhere well. I used them on the area behind the toilet in my half bath, it looks nice.
