Are these tiles easy to cut and install?
Yes. Colamo tiles are designed for easy DIY installation. For detailed cutting and installation steps, please refer to the Colamo Tile Installation Guide.
Does this go over existing tile?
Yes! 🙋♀️Our tiles feature a rigid core and are thick enough to naturally bridge over deep grout lines.
However, try to ensure the surface is as flat as possible. If your existing tiles have texture, we recommend lightly sanding the surface.
For extra security on uneven surfaces, you can add some adhesive, like a spray adhesive to ensure proper bonding.
Before installation, use an all-purpose cleaner to remove any grease or residue. Always make sure the surface is dry and dust-free to ensure the best adhesion.
Can I install peel and stick tiles on textured walls (like orange peel)?
For best results, a smooth and flat surface is always recommended.
However, our peel and stick tiles can still be installed on lightly textured walls, such as orange peel. We’ve had many customers successfully apply them directly without sanding.
What to expect:
- Minor Gaps: On textured surfaces, you may notice that some tiles don’t sit perfectly flush—this is normal. A simple fix is to apply silicone caulk (just like grout) between the tiles. This helps fill small gaps and creates a cleaner, more finished look.
- Extra Security: If you are concerned about the wall texture affecting the bond, applying a bit of spray adhesive (such as 3M Super 77) to the wall before installation can provide extra peace of mind and ensure the tiles stay firmly in place.

Believe it or not, I use this for my bathroom floor. I have a very small bathroom and I just love the way it looks. I did add a waterproofing liner underneath and best of all they are peel and stick. I did not have any issues reposition them and cutting them were a breeze.
Some pieces didn't stick well, we had to glue them. But they look amazing!
The pieces are very lightweight, and are peel and stick, which is amazing. The wood is beautiful and the box contains a nice mix. It has a very rustic look which we actually love, but unfortunately it is not the right look for the room we planned to use them in. (Hence the images of my husband holding the pieces up.) We decided to go another route in this room. We love the pallette pieces so much though, that we decided we will do a pallette wall downstairs in the basement when we renovate it. If you are looking for a classy, rustic look, these are pieces for you! Easy to install and beautiful! Very rustic though, so perfwct if you want that look! Would highly recommend.
Super easy to work with, use peel and stick to hold it temporarily and then when its all done, pop it with a nail gun using only small finishing nails right into the drywall. Works beautifully!
I am loving this. It gives me space a whole different look. Easy to install and very strong and sturdy.
So easy to install and I love the look. I added liquid nails to the back to make sure they stick forever. These panels are a bit pricey but the convenience of installation was the reason I splurged. 10 boards per box comes to almost $8 a board. It took 5 boxes to do one small wall that is mainly a French Door. That was way too much expense but I have to say I love the wood look.
These are different sizes in width and length. They’re very lightweight but look like real wood! I’m ordering more to finish my project. I’m having butcher block countertop installed and using these as backsplash. 5 stars
These wood panels are perfect for the rustic-looking wall I will be putting up behind the toilet! I absolutely love all of the various colors the variety of shades textures of each individual panel! Each one is so unique, which will give my wall an authentic look!

Such a great collection of colors in this self-adhesive, reclaimed wood decor pack. These are stable pieces of wood (not flimsy veneers).
I turned a couple of boards over so you can see how they have ingeniously scored each board in three lengthwise for if you want to create a thin-width chevron pattern, for example. Or you can use the scoring the other direction to create pieces that are, generally, 4-12” by 12”. Love the design flexibility!
Installation is simple. Create your design, mark a level line on the wall, peel and stick press firmly across the board to ensure strong adhesion.

Wow, these are so rustic, I mean REALLY rustic. Did I say they were rustic? I know most people will know what they are like, but just in case, you can't get much more reclaimed than these. Don't want any one to be surprised.
I build many things, mostly out of wood and I am always looking for unique or different materials. These are unique for sure. Look close at the pictures because that is pretty close to what you might get. They are distressed to say the least.
This is a tough review to write because I don't want to knock them for being what they are suppose to be. I like the distressed look and feel, but some of the spots on a couple of the boards are more dirty, they look dirty. Like they came from a machine shops with oil and grease. Asked my daughters opinion and she said the two boards looked gross. She is not prime and proper. If it wasn't for the "dirty" spots, they would be 5 stars for being reclaimed type of material. I am not trying to be picky, just as detailed as possible, so people know what they are getting.
Overall, they are good looking, except for the couple of boards, they do look great. Up to you how distressed you want.
The wood planks look so nice and are so easy to apply. So far they have stayed on very well with no extra adhesive. We are very happy with the result.
Its a very good product. Being wood, it allows you to manipulate it more than others. Its uniformly cut 99 percent of the time. I recommend using a nail gun. The adhesive is ok but not a permanent option.

Lightweight. Easy install. Scoring makes staggering easy. Very realistic. Used liquid nail for better security.

I love the look of this product! Note - The adhesive wasn’t sufficient to stick to my walls. I used a little liquid nail and had no issue. The panels were easy to cut when necessary with a circular saw. Easy to install (and I’ve never done a project like this before).
Great product to work with and it was just what I was looking for. Easy to cut and install. I did have to also nail the product on.
